Founded in Berkeley in 1975 by structural engineer Ashraf Habibullah, working alongside UC Berkeley professor Edward L. Wilson, CSI grew from a one-person software effort into the standard analysis and design platform for the profession — trusted by engineering firms in more than 160 countries.

ETABS v23.3.0 | v23.3.1 | v23.3.2 Enhancements
ETABS v23.3.0, v23.3.1 and v23.3.2 now add concrete and PT slab design per CSA A23.3:2024, auto wind loading per KDS 41 12 00:2022 with automated Gust factor and optional cross‑wind and torsional effects, and new Story Inertial Forces output tables. Enhancements also include SQLite format export for database tables, .NET 10 API access via COM, updated section‑cut behavior when calculating forces for auto‑meshed areas, improved loading calculation performance during element model generation, and alphabetical sorting of load cases and combinations throughout the program.
